Australian Acting Royalty Shine @ Toronto International Film Festival

Although Australia’s population of 22 million makes it a cottage industry compared to the United State’s behemoth 311 million, Australian film had strong representation at the 37th Toronto International Film Festival. Beyond specifically Australian productions, many Aussie actors have found success in their own right as big-name Hollywood stars. We take a look at several Australian actors now considered among the biggest names present on the festival’s carpets.

Selected for TIFF were dramas Satellite Boy, The Sapphires, Lore, Dead Europe and Underground, as well as the epic 3D documentary Storm Surfers.
